Complaint

I called in on August 12, 2021, regarding my account to the credit dept. Rep in credit dept, was extremely rude, very unprofessional and overall had a nasty attitude. I called back later that evening, to be connected to customer service. I was connected to a very pleasant and helpful rep by the name of Jerome; only to be told he was a supervisor. He was extremely helpful and listened to my concerns. Jerome, quickly, explained things in detail and put my mind at ease. He handled my issue in a timely manner. People like Jerome are an asset to this company.

User's recommendation: Most rep for this company are pleasant but at times one may come across a bad apple.

Billing question

No, I called to explain I returned the item (shoes) so my balance should be zero. The customer rep said she would make a note of it. So as far as I am concerned, the issue is resolved. Thank you, Christine Noble

RIdiculous company

Company policies/ officers/ can't conceptualize that a woman can have two names (Maiden/Married). I have had tremendous problems. Hire more women Managers/policymakers!

My name was rented or sold from Woman Within, and I keep having to request to be removed from Midnight Velvets catalogs. Its time consuming, wasteful, and annoying.

Credit

I ordered from Midnight Velvet and wanting to open a credit card account Midnight Velvet ran my credit report. I made monthly payments before due date and on the 2nd month decided to order another item. To my surprise Midnight Velvet ran another credit report on me, without my approval. When I called customer service I was informed that each time I made an order a credit report would be obtained. Running crew reports lowers your score by 2 points each time. I immediately paid off the balance and closed the account. Customers beware of this practice from Midnight Velvet.

Terrible Customer Service

Received notice my payment has not been received, which was mailed on December 21, 2020, with a due date of January 5, 2021. I checked my account and did not see that my $75.00 payment had not been cashed. I then called and spoke with a gentleman, and he said a late charge had been added and that would be lifted upon the bill being paid and asked could he send me to the automated system and I said whatever he could do to get this resolved. I paid the bill in full and asked where is the bill to show me that the late charge would be removed. I then spoke today with two different people who were not kind and gave a bunch of excuses. This is no way to treat persons who are great customers. This must be handled and my check for the $75.00 returned and close my account and stop the solicitation of your magazines. I will also let others know how Midnight Velvet treats good customers and do not buy from you.
